The event, which runs July 13-20 and is hosted by the city of Detroit and the Detroit Sports Commission, has sold more than 4,700 spots to establish a tournament record for participants.
The Junior Gold Championships is the premier event for the nation’s top youth bowlers, who will compete for national titles in four divisions – 12-and-under, 15-and-under, 17-and-under and 20-and-under – plus spots on Junior Team USA and scholarships.
